About Vica Abode
Walk into most homeware shops and you will find the same forty things. The same vase. The same neutral throw. Made by the ten thousand, stacked in a warehouse, waiting for someone — anyone — to want them.
We started Vica Abode because we wanted to do it the other way round.
Nothing here exists until you order it
Every Vica Abode piece is made after you choose it. Your print is laid down, your fabric is cut, your piece is packed and sent. There is no shelf of unsold stock behind us, because there is no stock at all.
That changes two things, and we would rather be straight with you about both.
You wait a little longer. Most orders take between four and twelve business days from the moment you place them, because production happens first and shipping second. We are never going to beat a warehouse that already has your item in a box. We are not trying to.
Nothing you receive has been sitting around for a year. Your duvet cover was printed the week you ordered it. Your tumbler was made for you and no one else. And because we do not print speculatively, nothing we make ends up in a clearance bin or a landfill unsold.
Designs you will not find on the high street
Printing to order does something quietly important: it lets us back a design that speaks strongly to a few thousand people, rather than one that offends nobody.
A mass retailer has to print ten thousand of something before it reaches a shelf, so it hedges. Everything drifts toward beige. We do not have that constraint — so we can make celestial moon phases, mushroom prints, mid-century geometry, watercolour mountains, botanical line art. Pieces with an opinion.
If you have ever looked around your home and thought it resembled a showroom more than a person, that is the gap we are trying to close.

We design and curate every piece in the range, then work with established production partners in the United States who print and finish each order. It means your parcel travels a short domestic distance rather than crossing an ocean, and it means we can stand behind the quality of what arrives.
We ship across the United States. Orders over $75 ship free.
